A group of Lee County School District educators recently attended the Elementary Computer Science Summer Institute in Tupelo.
The training focused on best practices, integration methods, and resources to help elementary teachers successfully implement a computer science program in their classrooms.
The Mississippi Legislature passed a law in 2021 that requires computer science in all elementary classrooms across the state by 2024.
