2021 has 2.3% of Chickasaw County residents unemployed

Chickasaw County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 157 people out of the 17,100 living in Chickasaw County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Chickasaw County has decreased compared to the 3.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Chickasaw County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.8%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
