Update… With the assistance of the US Marshalls service, the MS Bureau of Investigation, Louisiana State Police, and the Baton Rouge Police Department Antonio Reyes, Samuel Sims, and Hunter Wigington were captured tonight in Baton Rouge, LA.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on August 6th, Alcorn County Deputies and Investigators received information about the location of escapee Landon Braudway. The officers went to the residence and located Braudway who attempted to flee. He then attempted to fight the officers but they were able to take Braudway back into custody.
I want to thank everyone involved in helping us catch all four of the fugitives.
The investigation into their escape is ongoing.
