Escapee Back in Custody

72

Escapee back in Custody 4:45

Around 4pm this afternoon, Prentiss County Inmate William Ray "Bo" Norris 36 of Booneville escaped the exercise yard by managing to work his way under the exercise yard fence and ran into nearby woods.  At around 4:40pm we received information that Norris was being transported to the Booneville Emergency room.  Officers from the Sheriff's Office and the Police Department responded and took Norris back into custody.  A female that was with Norris was also taken into custody.  We appreciate the Booneville Police, Prentiss County Constable Sammy Henderson and everyone that helped the Sheriff's Officers in the search and apprehension. Escape Norris was being held in Jail on charges of Burglary and Grand Larceny as well as a  Hold for Mississippi Department of Corrections for a violation of supervision.

Norris has been located and back in custody. 17:00 hours

JAIL ESCAPE

William Bo Norris has escaped from the Prentiss County Jail this afternoon. If you have seen him or know his whereabouts call 911 immediately. He was last seen wearing an inmate uniform.
