Indians In Fifth After Opening Round Of Maccc Event 4

Itawamba Community College golf opened the spring portion of their schedule Monday by shooting 332 (+44) in the first round of MACCC Event 4 held at The Oaks Golf Club.

Jake Ware (Oxford) shot a team best 78 (+6) and is tied for 10th place going into the final round.

Corbin Andrada (Olive Branch) is tied for 16th after shooting 80 (+8) on the first day, while Trace Sonnier (Vancleave) shot an 82 (+10) and is tied for 24th.

Everett Price (Amory) shot a 92 (+20) and is tied for 52nd.

The Indians will start the final round only one stroke behind Jones College, while Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College leads the event after shooting 290 (+2).
