Cpl. Donald visited Lil Leaps Academy on March 13 to participate in the school’s ‘Show and Tell’ program, where he spoke with students about his work and demonstrated some of his equipment.
The visit aimed to give students a better understanding of law enforcement roles and foster positive relationships between officers and young community members.
During the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions about Cpl. Donald’s job and learn more about the tools used in his daily duties. The interaction was described as engaging, with many students expressing excitement about meeting a local officer.
Lil Leaps Academy thanked Cpl. Donald for taking time to spend with their students, highlighting the importance of such community outreach efforts.
Events like these are intended to build trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve, offering children firsthand insight into public safety careers.
